Getting into the habit
I was surprised that it took me this long to return to posting here, even after getting excited by wonderfroggy and pooh_bear also posting for the first time in years.

I don't know how to live like this.
Mostly I don't know how to live with this feeling of being trapped and waiting for an unknown outcome. Who knows what the world will look like when we are all released. Berlin: Love in the time of the Corona virus
It's been a while since I've written anything, not only here but anywhere. After my dad died 5 years ago it hurt too much to post words I knew he could never read. Friends and colleagues suggested he still might be able to read it, but I could never connect with that feeling. Now, I like that idea, even if I don't really believe it. Life etc
I'm sitting in my kitchen listening to my friend Simon teach Mischa, who is preparing for his audition for principal cello at the philharmonic in two weeks. This is so much better than him playing for me, since I have such mixed feelings about this audition!

hardly back to normal
