So, I wouldlike to begin using Lj again, simply becase 17 weeks has passed since I last used it. Since I left my first restaurant to go on a fishing trip of the north coast vancouver island....which did'nt happen because the entire fishing season of 2007 was canceled do to staggering low numbers of salmon. Okay...so.....here's the deal. I'v been internet-less, living downtown a couple blocks from commercial drive and working in a kitchen. I make enough money to live downtown and work. which is a drain to say the least. Often times I find myself caught up in the distractions that the city has to offer. Catching the bus to work I share my space with thirty or more people. The plots of a couple hundred songs to keep my thoughts occupied for such a short trip. A book to stisfy my curiousity whenever the fancey strikes me. Such milestones bring waves of awareness with such intensity. If only I could keep up. I certainly was'nt expecting to traverse the lower mainland during a mild snowstorm when I woke up this afternoon, groggy, slightly disoriented. The snow is beautiful, I can't help but feel like a child again. This weather brings such an innocence out of me ( Read more... )

I stayed by her side so when she was awake so she knew someone was there to keep her company. My family and I watched over her compassionately. She passed away this morning.

I don't know how long I've been asleep for, I just sort of, dosed off. I've now thouroughly convinced myself i will be awake for the rest of the night/morning.
