It's always exciting to try to figure out who people are by their LJ usernames. There are a couple dozen people on my list that you probably know.
Most people (including myself) make all of their posts "friends only." Since literally everyone on the planet can read public posts, it just keeps life simpler.
This practice can make figuring out who people are a bit difficult.
