Reading this ghost story book turned me into a ghost. Seriously, I would stay up late, 'til past 2 am, reading because I needed to know what happened next, or I'd have a really bad case of reading ahead, which I hate, because then when I get to those chapters the next night there's nothing really new to read, so I read ahead again...vicious cycle. She wrote the Time Traveller's Wife, right? Was this book good? I loved Time Traveller's Wife until about the last 30 pages, when I thought it got too drawn out and sad.

I should follow up: I'm sure you said in your post if it was good, but I only skimmed it because I didn't want to ruin any plot stuff in case I decide to read it.

Sorry, didn't mean to possible ruin things in the book, I just didn't think anyone would actually read this! But to answer your question, yes it's the same author as Time Traveler's Wife.
