Seriously, there's an e-mail in my inbox whose title and address is in Russian...I'm keeping it safely unread for now for the sheer novelty of having it there until I can translate what the hell the subject line is because I'm curious what some Russian thought I should be spammed with. -

Alright, I don't have pictures to share (I'll coerce my sister into taking a picture or two tomorrow) but my Dollar and a Half Cardigan is finished. I have to say I'm shocked that I didn't mess it up, that it fits, and best of all looks good on me. I started sewing up the sleeves and sides on Thursday and finished it up yesterday evening. So Excited.
I blocked the main piece of my sweater...so really, to use correct terminology it was "killed" (but not as killed as the sleeves, I worry I'll have to repeat the killing process on the main piece after it's first washing). I killed me some acrylic.
Alright, so I'm hoping I killed me some acrylic. I followed the directions...just not to the letter. I would have, I really truly would have BUT I think I wet the towel too much and therefore was never going to be "DONE" as stated in the directions. Swear to God, my teacher opened up a can of worms with his last writing assignment. He basically told us it was permissible to rant about Star Wars as long as in the end nothing overly academic was said. I was all O.O What?
