I have never had such a weird success/catastrophe dichotomy going on in my life as I have now, and it's driving me crazy. Oh wow, that sounds like an incredibly frustrating situation. :(
I have something that might just cheer you up: a copy of our tack room key! I don't know what your horse situation is for the summer, but you're welcome to escape to our barn anytime you want (because you are awesome and we trust you there alone, and the boys would love any extra attention that you would want to give them). We should get together sometime soon, and I'll give it to you! Also, I love dogs and if you need someone to come over and walk Laney, I'd be happy to volunteer.

Oh, man, you are a goddess. I haven't been able to ride since I came home (the wonderful ladies I used to work for have two excellent working students right now and not enough work to keep them busy, and I can't afford their regular rates until I find work). I would love to help you spoil your boys! =) You are welcome to come and play with the puppy if you'd like. She's really sweet most of the time, she just has an uncontrollable mouth. We're going to break down and pay for some professional training for her, while we still have some functioning power cords!
