Today was wonderful, simply wonderful.

I had my first physical therapy appointment yesterday. The doctor is excellent! He is going to help me overcome my back pain and I am so glad for that. Being immobilized by pain for hours at a time is not fun, believe me.

It has been quite the long time since I've updated this journal. I just got back from St Louis this past weekend, where I went to for two weeks to a training event. The city was gorgeous and I had a lot of fun while there. The food was AMAZING!

Did anybody else watch the monumental ass-kicking that the President gave the collective Republican Party last week??? Holy fuck! That was freaking amazing! Last Monday, November the 16th, I had my tonsils removed. It was a quick outpatient procedure. I was in and out in a matter of hours, and Anil was with me the entire recovery period. I was warned that there would be post-op pain and that I would need to stay hydrated, and then I was given lots of narcotics and antibiotics and sent home ( Read more... )

The conference at Indianapolis was GREAT!!! Learned a lot and was able to make good connections. I'm heading out back to Florida now. TTYL

I am in Indianapolis tonight. I am here until Friday morning, at which point I fly back to Florida.

I really am such a moron. I should keep my mouth shut and not speak up, like EVER. Ack!

Today was Anil and mine sixth wedding anniversary. Ilyana woke up with a fever, so we stayed home all day. It was a very peaceful, enjoyable day. We didn't do anything special, go anywhere, but...it was magic.  We spent all day reading, I was online a lot, and we had a pretty enjoyable day in each other's company.
