Friday my grandfather, Senator John J. Hainkel Jr. died in his sleep. He was the most beautiful, sweet, strong, wonderful, giving, caring, man that this world will ever ever see. He was a wonderful person from the few memories I have of him, and all can remember is that you and him were very similar. I love you Alix, and I know you'll grow up to be just as sweet, thoughtful, and clever as he was.

I'm so sorry for your loss my sweetie. My pawpaw was also a big Tulane fan and everytime I hear the Hullaballu at a game I miss him so much. Just know he's still watching over you baby. He won't let anything bad happen to his girl.
