That is really harsh xD
Have you been in contact with the people who might be able to help you out? (I think I remember reading something along that line on the forum?)

Yeah have someone looking through the small print of my contract, but not really holding too much hope now..

I am more angry about how on a knife edge she was with the law rather than being given notice.. it is kind of a relief to know i am not going to have to travel 3 hours round trip a day to get there, or deal with her again haha

Just angered about how cloak and dagger she has been about it, to be honest i have been looking for new employment, but i did notice a job very similar to mine in the jobcentre the other day, so that did get me thinking.. but if she had this all planned for a while then i may have to cover her car with emulsion :P

Oh sweetie - I'm so sorry to hear this :(

This is an absolute shit state of affairs. Surely you can get some free legal advice, it sounds well dodgy and I think you have a case - have you a union rep? if you're in the union or there is a union get signed up asap! Fingers crossed you can get this taken higher and get her reprimanded for unacceptable behaviour.

Thoughts are with you poppet x

I have chick.. which is basically you cant do anything even if you have a full time contract unless you have been there 12 months. Its totally crap.. am not in a union or anything. It is a clear cut case of unfair dismissal, but bott all i can do as of the 12 month thing.. and it is wrongful dismissal which i would have a case for because she hasnt followed contractual procedure but because they have given me basically 4 weeks notice and pay for that there is no point raising a case as i would not be entitled to anymore compensation ( ... )
