Hurricane/Tropical Storm Isaac

Isaac's finally blown through my area. And I mean finally! At one point, it was moving a 10th of a mile in 3 hours which is why St. Tammany and Baton Rouge got pounded.

My area seriously lucked out since the storm landed and shifted in such a way that we were 15-20 miles outside of the strike zone. We got about 3" of rain and A LOT of wind with

So glad you came out of it relatively unscathed!

Certainly better than I did in South Florida. We were trapped in the house by flooding (foot of water in front of my house). Town got 18" of rain over 2 days. Finally receded enough today to get out, but still 8 inches of water in the road.

This was one f-ing storm!!!!!!
