I would make it law that any time any form of entertainment - be it book, movie, tv show, etc - had a cliffhanger for an "ending", it would have to have a warning label

Sorry you got sucked into something like that. Total disappointment. I stopped reading Nora Roberts series until they are complete for that reason. Hugs
I got sucked into NCIS: Los Angeles. I got through the finale of last season and two of the main characters were being held by that seasons Big Boss and they were being tortured for information.
...and I won't see the resolution until probably in November when they tend to release those shows to dvd/streaming on netflix. (I got sucked into watching the show mid-season 5 so I totally missed it. And, while you can get some of the current season's episodes on the cbs website, they don't have season 5, episode 1; they do, however, have episode 2. Douchebags. LOL!)
It's the second time this month that crap has happened. Last time, it was Breakout Kings. Only that cliffie will never be resolved because they canceled the show. (Which I didn't know going in to watching it on netflix.)
Lol. I watch that show so I could tell you what happened but I won't cause I hate when people spoil it for me. And yes It pissed me off when they ended last season like that. My rant is I missed an episode of Agents of Shield. One of my favorite characters is a bad guy now and I don't know why. Damn ABC changed the time of the new episode so I ended up dvring the wrong episode. Oh well I will just but the series when it comes out. It is kind o fun to e mad at something I can control. Hugs
Have you tried ABC's website? They keep the five latest episodes up for you to steam. You'll have to sit through commercials, but you'll get to watch your episode.
I totally agree! I've also watched series that get cancelled after the cliffhanger airs. The worst one was "Las Vegas". The show went on hiatus due to the writers strike with four episodes left to film. And they just cancelled it! Talk about screwing the fans! Left us at a BiG cliffhanger! Grrrr.
Oh man that's even worse! Same thing happened with Breakout Kings. Left season two with a major cliffie and the show got cancelled.
IMO, writers ought to treat every episode like it might be the last that way the watchers are never left hanging. That's one of the reasons why I respected the writers on Leverage; they did that with every episode. Their thinking was that what they hated as watchers is what they ought to avoid as writers. Made the show awesome.
