Soooo, there was this article in the NY Times about texting language in school work. Like Duh. See..if you were in middle/high school in the 80s Valley Speak was the great fear. Now...IMspeak. A while back my Thunderbird crashed and took all my archives with it. Don't know how or why. Anyway, I never reinstalled it. I've been using gmail through its web interface and have to say I'm kind of liking it. I'm not drawn to check it all the time. I don't get the little "oooh I've got mail" notices.
