I got an A in my editing class! (And two of the other three classes, as well - the fourth class doesn't have grades posted yet.)

I just finished my first full-time semester at school since 2005!

I'm so proud of myself :)

I just finished a five-page paper justifying the legality and morality of gay marriage, using St. Augustine's Confessions as evidentiary support. Right now, I think it's brilliant. Tomorrow, I'll probably hate it. C'est la vie.

God, I love it when experiences validate my choices.

I'm working on copyediting a 20 page manuscript for class (and the prof for that class has been copyediting at the aforementioned Science Lab and teaching for 35 years), and I think I just finished transitioning the bibliography to endnotes. Classes are going well. I'm busy, but it's useful information - not just busywork or stuff I'll never need to know - or stuff I can trick myself into believing is useful.

I just found a website where you can purchase the chrome logo script for the car.

It's ￥ 12,000, which translates into about $150 USD.

That's too much. It's too expensive. I just have to keep telling myself that. Lord almighty, but I want it.

GlaxoSmithKline released an announcement that the Herpevac trial did not prove successful in preventing HSV transmission. They will be discontinuing that particular vaccine.

Remember that herpes vaccine trial I participated in forever and a day ago? Preliminary results are finally being released - this Thursday!
