I just cooked myself my own multi-pan dinner for the first time in a long time. It was very tasty, and there are two more dinners' worth of leftovers. And I finally have a kitchen large enough to do that.

Oh my fucking god, the bank is trying to overpay me $2300.

I was totally about to go to bed, and then I wanted to take two seconds to check my paycheck. Surprise! So much for sleep. My former supervisor is going to look into it tomorrow, then I'll follow up again Thursday.

I'm about 80% moved in and set up. All of my books are now out of boxes and up on shelves - that part is psychologically huge for me. I have one medium box of random stuff, plus two small boxes of stuff the unpack; beyond that, it's all stuff that needs to get put away and/or donated to Goodwill - including some furniture ( Read more... )

The final piece has fallen into place, at last. And three of the four major pieces clicked today, omfg.

Apartment: I signed an 18 month lease a couple weeks ago. All my utilities and renter's ins are set up and faxed off to the leasing office. edwarddain will be kindly dropping off move-in monies and picking up keys for me Tuesday ( Read more... )
