Title: Side Trip Word Count: 211 Rating: G Characters/Pairings: Allan, Luke Summary: Someone had to tell Luke Spoilers/Warnings: Spoiler for 2x13 Disclaimer: I own nothing
You are so kind! Yes, I don't so much see the first paragraph as being words that Allan is actually thinking to himself. It's more things that he might notice and feel in this moment without necessarily making the connections that I attempt. This was meant to be an exercise for me in both brevity and descriptive writing, neither of which I feel I do very well. So I'm very glad you liked it!
Part of your canon? What a lovely compliment! I like to imagine that maybe once or twice Allan and Luke kept in touch or got together. It seems right, somehow, that they might fill in Will's absence for each other.
By the way, I went to your LJ page. Where are all of your stories? And, notice my icon here? I think it's quite nice. :)

There's something very beautiful about the first paragraph. I don't see Allan as the poetic type, but these words seem natural somehow. Lovely.
The mention of Auntie Annie is a very nice touch. It's a shame we never got to meet her. Since this is now part of my canon, I'm glad Allan did.

I got over myself and posted my first entry at LiveJournal. Might add more stories tomorrow. Thanks for the nudge. ^__^
