15 Fic Recs: Experiments by Evil Scientists
Based on the nature of the prompt, it's fair to say that many of these stories involve some form of kidnapping/abduction, violence, torture, and non-consensual activities of one kind or another. Although I did manage to unearth a couple of fun stories that more or less fit this trope.

Author's Summary: Sam regrets letting Dean pressure him into returning to Stanford more than he could ever expect. Taken by demons and scientists looking for psychics to experiment on and replaced at Stanford by a shapeshifter, he is nearly broken by torture as the scientists try to coerce him into using his visions to find more psychics. To protect those still free, he loosens the iron-clad control that has kept him from madness while he and his family fought the supernatural.

Rec: Sam's madness is a thing of beauty in this fic, described as an intricate landscape he's constructed in his mind to keep the scientists from using him against others. Dean's journey through the layers of Sam's subconscious to try to pull him back to reality is fascinating and vividly described.

The story is told from the villain's POV, and it's effectively chilling as he goes about his day-reading the newspaper, dismembering animals, mopping up the floors at the school, stitching animals back together and reanimating them. Then he decides to move on from animals to humans, and he sets his sights on Dean.

Rec: Truly creepy body horror. What I like best about this story is the clinical, detached way alien!Jared goes about his experiments, and the differences in their biological make-up (eyestalks!) mean that even when Jared tries to be kind Jensen's in a constant state of shock and terror. This is a WIP that might have been discontinued but it still presents some interesting ideas.
