It is one of my favorite Chinese holidays! ミ☆ ミ★
In China, it is a holiday for worshipping the moon, greeting winter, and commemorating China's freedom from Mongol rule among other things... All of which I am not too clear of (^^ゞ But, to me, it is a time to get together with my friends and family~!

Sadly, the last festival I went to... scratch that, it wasn't a festival. It was free cake on Veteran's Day ;_;
Ahhh, that's exactly what I thought of when I read floating lanterns! (I adore that movie)

Oooh, I was asking, because sushi is another one of those foods that certain people don't like b/c of it's texture... As for me... I will eat anything :D Wahahaha.
But I don't think I've ever had Hokkigai nigiri... Or not that I know of~ When I go to a Japanese restaurant, I always order Chirashi, and I have no idea which fish is in it~ I'll definitely have to ask for it next time!

I had to look up moon cakes to see what it looks like and I must say, I tried to eat the picture. xD You're making me love this holiday. AND OH MY PIE, THAT NECKLACE IS AMAZEBALLS!!!
