i woke up suddenly at 5am and i 'felt'  that my grandfather was dead. it finally registered that his neurons were rotting in a wooden box. he died around that time of day... i wonder what it is about the dawn that makes people finally let go. 

things that have been making me happy:

- night walks with my boyfriend

- receiving lace-up boots

- wonderful & courteous roommates

- dogs <3

- my mother's homemade pies

- playing my uncle's first guitar on thanksgiving

- old physics books

- the possibility of new friendships and re-uniting with old friends

wait 'til you see the statues in my bathroom....

Though I didn't know you personally, your writing was an obsession of mine. I navigated through your brain and saw/felt heaven. It's a shame none of your writing was published, but perhaps one day it will be re-discovered.

Quite frankly, I don't care if anyone actually reads this blog anymore, plus it seems like people have migrated to blogspot, tumblr, etc. This is where I go when my thoughts swirl chaotically and I seek clarity. have a research job with a grad. student who knows how to network and now the possibilities seem infinite. i live in an apartment with sweet and pretty girls and my heart feels like it is sailing like a balloon. how did i get so lucky?
