I feel you on the lack of human interaction. I feel like my computer is my closest physical friend at college, and while I don't totally mind, it does feel weird.

Congrats on the poem. Also I vote Denver lies wildly about ages and all my favorite "too-old" youth slammers compete in Chicago. 'Cause it would bring a smile to so many faces.

i'm actually still within the age range (19 is the cutoff, right? i have a late birthday) but i have the same problem i did last year ... i'll still be in austin for the first few months that the denver team will be together. but i'll be in chicago no matter what. i trust i will see you there?

That's excellent news. I have a late birthday too, which is why I'm still eligible.

I'm hoping to make it to Chicago, but I actually can't make any promises yet. My life is really up in the air right now and anything could happen. I'll do everything I can to get there though, on a team or on my own.
