Leaving my comment for all of the Leslie parts here, but I love how you guys collaborated. It worked so well. And I love seeing them such a close, solid team. They're awesome. And this is awesome. Good stuff.

Ron Swanson, everybody! He is such a wonderful friend...he just KNOWS what to say and will uncover his "facade of uncaring" to support Leslie, even when she doesn't understand the need for it quite yet.

...and her head is starting to ache and her stupidly amazing boyfriend definitely likes Washington more than her. Leslie's insecurities about Ben in Washington are SO real and accurate - I know their relationship is sound, and that Leslie is a confident lady, but any human being, especially one who loves politics as much as she does, would be at least a little intimidated by how much her boyfriend might love DC...I am VERY interested in how much or how little the show will deal with this. As much as I would hate for them to dwell on the angst, I have a feeling that it will crop up from time to time throughout at least the first half of the season.

And the rose petal/"I thought you were going to break up with me" scene? Brilliant! And, then, of course, yes, Ben Wyatt: best boyfriend ever. :) And then sexytimes. :) Great collaboration,

I love this part b/c it's so Leslie. She's such a powerful woman, that you sometimes forget about her insecurities. Well played.

This was all so sweet and wonderful and perfectly in-character for both of them. And I love the subtle running thing about food through Leslie's POV--the whipped cream, the sexy pink drinks, the...more whipped cream...And, as others have said, all the sections really hit the balance between all of Leslie's whirlwind emotions.

Awww - Leslie thought he wasn't excited because he was sleepy, but he was sleepy because he was so excited? That was very cute. And sexy, of course, once they made it back to the hotel! Whipped cream on ice = hilarious and perfect. Also, I always knew Leslie was inappropriately turned on by the combination of Ben's face/pie/whipped cream, so it was excellent to see that come up too :D That poor bus driver... He is not going to enjoy it when Leslie and Ben move in and live there forever.
