After much contemplation, I've decided that I'm going to at the very least minor in French before leaving the UW. It wasn't even offered as a minor at UW until a few months ago, but now that it's official, I figure I should pursue it since I a) have the time to do it, and b) I'm only six classes away from finishing it. english 342 is taught next quarter by one of the sweetest, most amazing professors, veronica robertson. i have her now for my senior seminar, she's really interesting and draws everyone into discussion - i think you'll like her class! and that's cool about the french minor :) anyways, i enjoy reading your posts and am excited you'll be back at uw soon!

That is exactly what I wanted to hear about her, thank you!! I'm super excited about taking her class - the cirriculum sounds fun - and she got high reviews from the course catalog, too. But actually hearing a vote from word-of-mouth just makes me that much more excited about taking her class!

Eh, me and some classmates were talking the same way...like, man, we've been here almost two years, and do we feel any smarter? Sure we know the components of an atom, etc, etc, but will that get me a job?

Inspiration comes in the oddest places, though...I took a Business Law class to fill a time slot and found my calling....

Yeah, I definitely like I've grown more stupid over the past two years of college. Ironically enough, though, my work ethic has increased! haha
