Here are two things I could never picture myself doing at the age of 17:
1) Getting excited when applying to jobs that offer a 401(k) plan with company match up.
2) Getting officially summoned for jury duty. Has anyone here ever done jury duty before?

hawai'i
Good riddance to the Seattle rain! I'm off to O'ahu/Honolulu/Hawai'i until August 29th.
I leave for the airport in just a few minutes. It hasn't really hit me that I'm leaving for Hawai'i yet; I suppose the excitement will settle in once I set foot on a nice, picturesque Hawaiian beach.
To those of you who are still in town, I hope you stay dry. -

After a thoroughly memorable trip to Belgium and Holland, I'm finally back home in Nantes reveling in what I have come to view as my "(un)official last day in Nantes". Damn, I hate finals. I just came out of a three hour long session of exams, and I think I've only done a slightly mediocre job on my finals (I know I could've done better).
