After much contemplation, I've decided that I'm going to at the very least minor in French before leaving the UW. It wasn't even offered as a minor at UW until a few months ago, but now that it's official, I figure I should pursue it since I a) have the time to do it, and b) I'm only six classes away from finishing it. Everyone seems to be having a lovely start to December as it seems to be snowing all over in WA - from Bellingham to Seattle alike. I've already seen snow this season, so I can't say that I'm jealous, but I won't lie - I wish I were at home enjoying the snow with everyone else, too. :)

Mags, Lindsay, and I took a day trip up north to Brittany to visit Rennes, the region's capital. Rennes is north of Nantes, so naturally, it was SUPERCOLD there. Goodness. Thanksgiving in France is strange. Yes, it doesn't exist, but it's bizarre because random French people in my life - who know that I'm American - have just been causually greeting me with, "Happy Thanksgiving" (imagine this being said with a French accent, mind you) all day long. I have spent the better part of my evening uploading photos and trying to update my journal, only to have the entire entry be "impossible d'afficher la page" (the word "impossible" should say enough) when I tried to update, thus culminating in the loss of my first entry of pictures.
