A Kirksville teenager who shot and killed his father in october 2002 is now a free man. 19-year-old David Yates was released today from the custody of the mIssouri Division of Youth Services following his successful completion of a counseling and treatment program. I saw my uncle Rip today. Its been about 12 years. My father and I also went down to the trout hatchery somwhere by Cassville. Its an underground spring-fed river stream. The water is especially cold because its from 1,000 feet underground. All in all its been a nice trip. I don't know what we're doing tonight or tomorrow but I hope I get to see my ( Read more... )

My father and I had quite a lot of car trouble on the way down here. Managed to get here an hour or two later than we should have. I've been extremely dirty the last two days because I've been helping him fix it.

Look at me, I'm a redneck...gonna go fix muh truck.

I'll be gone for a week starting tomorrow.

You know what would be really nice?

If I logged on to my livejournal when I get back to find that all my friends commented on about how much they missed me...
