Time to shut the old new girl down and get her ready for her first LAN party.

I wish the art was done, but at least she's up and running, and still looks pretty awesome sans Dara's (my wife for my new friends) art.. I'm sure it will be done in time for Jaysen's birthday party in October.

And right now I am...very aware of my gums.

Of course its my own damn fault for not taking care of my teeth in general, and the 3-4 years without seeing a dentist certainly didn't help things along.

On the plus side, I think I like the new dental practice, and they are close to the apartment which is nice.

I love my new computer! Loading up City of Heroes and running around, before I even applied new settings to it, was like playing a whole new game. and it is so quiet it kind of spooks me. Good thing those old case fans I put in make some sound ( Read more... )

well, after talking things over with the only artist I can trade sexual favors for commissions, I've got a plan of attack for the graphic design of the old tower. Dara had a great idea for transferring art onto the case, which made a mural idea I considered out of reach very possible instead. After almost 2 years of borrowing Jason's old computer I will be getting a new one. I was going to wait until or tax return, but Dara said just to do it now. From an e-mail she sent me today:
