So, Leslie and I recently got our stimulus checks. Ya. We decided to use some of the money to put new flooring in our living room. So, today I will have spent all but maybe 3 of my waking hours either in the process of getting a belt sander or actually sanding the deck. I managed to get about 3/4 of it mostly sanded, but the wood is horribly uneven, so there are parts that still look like crap that I'll have to go back and re-sand. So, according to Livejournal, it's been something like 25 weeks since I last updated. Sadly (or maybe thankfully?) there really hasn't been that much to update about. I still hate my job, perhaps a little more than I did 25 weeks ago, still getting the same empty promises of increased compensation and that things will eventually fix themselves ( Read more... )
