Update- I'm moving to Hawaii

I am moving to the Windward side of Oauhu, Hawaii to a city by the name of Punalu'u. I have booked an apartment, furnished, all utilities and long-distance phone included on the beach for 3 months. My job pays me weekly which they divide up $2100 a month for rent(tax free) and give me a salary as well as a rental car. I will end up saving A LOT of

oh my gosh i am so proud of you!!! that is awesome! you will have so much fun in hawaii! have you ever been there before? prepare for humidity! i hope that i get the balls to do something like that in my nursing career too. good luck!

Awesome! Congrats! I feel that not knowing where you are going to end up is part of the excitement of travel nursing...which reminds me I need to start hounding my recruiter...my contract ends the 25th of May. Keep me posted on the islands. I have a feeling I'll be heading that way eventually.

Renew your contract and join me out here. There are jobs available, you just have to be flexible. It took me a couple of months since I will only work ER. You are more open. You should so come out there!

Thanks! I may stay longer, it's like 3 months minimum. I coulda signed a 6 month contract but that was too much of a commitment for me. I wanna feel it out for a while then decide what I want to do.
