Homesick

Wow! I never thought that I would have a hard time finding a job being a nurse! The economy is so fucked up that even I am having a very difficult time finding work, especially in California. I have put in a few applications online for ER jobs back home and NO reply. I check the websites a few days later and the job is not posted anymore. And trust ( Read more... )

maybe try portland or different parts of california? closer to home and still awesome...

I'd even venture up to San Fran but this is a nation wide issue. New York seems to be the only state with jobs. Nowhere in Caliofrnia seems to have much need. The HR guy in Santa Barbara even said that nurses are staying at their jobs. There is not a high turn-over rate because of the economy. And because of budgets, hospitals aren't hiring.

hang in there sweetie. You'll eventually find someone and then you'll be back. Some times you have to see with your own eyes that the grass isn't greener on the other side of the hill...

And I've been giving thought about your proposal of being roommate. Let me know when you land a job back over here and we can play it by ear.

most definitely! i know what';s it's like being with you in a room 24/7 for a week. i get along better with men and i have mande some changes myself. plus, we could carpool to clubs :) i will have a better answer once i get word on my next job hopefully in cali! expect to hear from me in about 2-4 weeks
