An example of the sleep stream of thought would be the thing I did last night. I just started thinking. It was not a dream because there was no reality, I was just deep in thought about how much money shoplifting from work totaled to. I was seeing if it broke $100. This came from a dream and would have gone into a dream if I had not woken up.
