Today the boys are 7 months old! That is 212 days, and 212 quarters in each of their little banks. We continue to expand the menu of solid foods. This weekend we had our first “finger foods”, we also had at the same time our first experience with food throwing.

Yesterday when I got home I found that the bootie fairy had paid us a visit. She left two pairs of the cutest hand knitted baby booties. Blue for Alexander and Green for Nikola. I’ll have to take, and post, some pictures of the doodles in their booties sometime in the next few days.

The boys are sick. Respiratory syncytial virus. Apparently it is very common with some 90% of children having it before age two. They started exhibiting symptoms Friday… This weekend was an adventure in fevers over 100, diarrhea, and vomiting. Recently read about a group on Northern California the build and race cycle-carts. Effectively go-carts on steroids styled after the cyclecars of the late 19th and early 20th century.
