Today, K and I went to this exhibit and saw a robot that can play the trumpet much better than my 7th grade ass ever could. Made by Toyota! I for one welcome our new trumpet playing robot overlords.

This thought on Foo Fighters on SNL: Even though my man Nate Mendel is on bass, and you got Pat Smear to jump around and smile with you while you play, you guys have be redefining "run-of-the-mill" for years. But I'll take you any day over Bon Jovi, who have been redefining "musical bag of flaming dogshit" since 1986.

I played my first "show" (actually a house party) with the new band tonight. It went pretty well considering I've only been playing with them less than a month. It was a basement show, which is something you can't do in Texas because no one has a basement.
