Seriously? You hadn't heard about Dr. Horrible? You have to go watch, it's Joss's latest project, starring Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillon. It's a 42 minute mini-movie musical that's just brilliant. Go watch before they take down the free viewing, because after that it'll be available only on itunes.
My life is okay. I had my gallbladder out a month ago, my job sucks and I need to get out before I kill someone, the kids are fine and Tom is fine. Nothing much going on, really.
How are YOU doing? I've been following your journal when I'm online (not as often as I used to be, unfortunately) and I'm appalled at the medical care you've been receiving. Is there not ONE good doctor where you are? I hope things are getting better and you'll be stone free and pain free.
I've discovered that I don't have a current email address for you, so email me with all of your contact info, okay? ((HUGS))
Oh good! I was out of town and un-computered when this was available for free before. *dashes off to Hulu immediately* *then dashes back to ditto what Chelle said, We wanna know what's going on in Lynn-world!"
(Me, I'm still all verklempt over the Hall of Fame inductions today. Art Monk, Darrell Green, Emmitt Thomas -- yeah, he *played* for the Chiefs but he was an assistant to Coach Gibbs so he's a Redskin, too. *sniffle*)
I had only seen the first two parts of Dr. Horrible when they took it off the first time, so I bought it on itunes. But it was much better watching it on the bigger screen and my husband got to see it, also. I really, really loved it and the music has been stuck in my head for days. I also went searching for more of Neil's singing on youtube and found him on Sesame Street as the Shoe Fairy, and doing a song from Rent on Rosie O'Donnell. I'm really sorry that I haven't been watching How I Met Your Mother, because he's supposed to be fantastic in that, too.
We recorded the induction ceremony and the damn thing ran over and the dvr didn't catch it, so I had to record the second airing and adjust the timing. I don't think Tom has had a chance to watch Art Monk's part yet. We saw Darrell Green's and enjoyed it, even though he got a little preachy for my taste. Tom's watching the game right now.
