The Bitch of Living
Had the privilege of seeing Spring Awakening today. LOVED LOVED LOVED it, although seeing people simulating sex on a stage in front of you is strange, as opposed to seeing it on a tv screen. Writer's Block: What Kind of Wonderful?
I personally love It's a Wonderful Life (mostly the first two thirds, anyway) and A Christmas Story will never get old. The original Grinch, Charlie Brown and Love, Actually probably round out my list of favorites. Am I the only one watching Skins on BBCA? I recorded it back when it started and now I'm working my way through season 2. It's brilliant, and unlike any American teen show, ever. Season one comes out on dvd on my birthday, so I think I'll just treat myself, because I would totally watch it all again and again and not having all the "fucks" ( Read more... ) -
Writer's Block: Gone but Not Forgotten
The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., Angel, Buffy, Firefly, Touching Evil (USA version), Dead Like Me, Wolf Lake, Forever Knight, Swingtown, and I'm sure there are others, snuffed out way before their time. The worst offense is when they just leave a show dangling, without any real closure. -
