I'm unsure if any of you knew about this certain current-affairs saga: a certain U.S. politician named 'Jack Thompson" has started blaming the whole gaming community (gaming companies and consumers) for youth crimes and the like. I cracked under the pressure and bought Transmetropolitan today.
Verdict? One of the fucking best written graphic novels ever created. Not because it has violence, blood, gore, and excessive use of the f-word, but simply because it somehow manages to come across as a brutally honest commentary (is that the word?) of the world we live in today.
