Never in a million years did I ever think that this would happen to me and my family. But it did. My parents just told me this past week that we were leaving our church. I was dumbfounded. We had attended our church for the past 7 years, and it had bascially become my second home. Leaving the church had never once crossed my mind. Until now.

no church is perfect. though people try and do their best for God, every church is bound to have flaws because its run by humans. i think the best thing to look for when serving/committing to a church is whether or not the pastor is a sincere, true servant of God who won't lead the sheep (congregation, like your analogy :P) astray. the best thing to do would be to continue to pray for your brothers and sisters and leaders of your old church. remember that you still serve the same God.
