That sucks! Also, I am sorry, but you realize you can never move back to the States now, right? Superstition and all...

99 sports seasons, to be anal (2004-5 NHL Lockout).

Still, it's the Phillies I don't actually dislike, so good on them and congrats to the PA's East Side. ;-)

You could also argue 98 if you want to throw in the year without a World Series... but regardless, it was a really long time!!

Thanks though!

I don't know... we haven't won any championships in the last 3 days; things will probably start getting unruly.

Just kidding, we're pretty happy right now. At least until Andy Reid runs a draw up the middle for 2 yards on a 3rd and 12 today.

Sadly, the combination of work, school, and Halloween plans have made it impossible for me to make it down for the parade. Curses! Flip a car for me, okay?

That is sad! While no cars were flipped, there were "Flip that truck!" chants. No one wanted to be the first one to do it though.

Also, I did take photos and videos that I will post a little later as I have time.

I'm still in shock and going between sheer jubilation and just tears because this all feels so overwhelming. It's almost causing me physical pain that I'm not going to be at the parade.

Also, if you haven't seen it yet, this is a great article!

We missed you for the parade! It is really overwhelming, and I still tear up whenever I hear Harry's call. "STRUCK HIM OUT!!!! THE PHILLIES ARE 2008 WORLD CHAMPIONS OF BASEBALL!!"

*sniffle*
