Oakland when it rains

There are some weird things that go on in Oaktown when it gets rainy. First of all, the tiles used to pave the center of town- the "Civic Center" that I think was part of some effort to revitalize the area- are apparently made of one part ice and one part oil. I saw three people fall when I walked to get lunch. I tried not to laugh but.... what

I work downtown, in Portland I worked downtown. I think there are just more crazies here.
