This is kinda annoying. Even though I don't post here much, I come often to read others' journal entries. But now when I go to my friends' page, it doesn't show me the latest ones, but instead presents to me everyone's entries from Oct. 31 and before. Am I missing something completely obvious? (I tend to do that a lot

Now that I got straightened out as to what, exactly, your problem is...

Apparently it's by design. In FAQ Question #148, it is statedYour Friends view will only display entries that were made within the last two weeks. If your friends have posted more than 1,000 entries within those two weeks, your Friends view will only display the first 1,000.

If you need more information on this, might want to check with the designers. I would imagine it's so some internal database fields don't have too much information in them.
