Wow! This is great! I haven't seen the episode but this version is much better, I'm sure. :)

Poor Bruce! He knew something was wrong but he was trying so hard to hang on.

The actual episode is so good! You should definitely watch it. (The second half of it is up on youtube, but the first half got taken down, lol.) But I'm glad my fic still made sense without having seen the episode.

Alas, poor cake! It had so much potential! Not even in a fantasy world is Bruce a good cook, LOL.

Wow, this was haunting and lovely. Everything that Bruce wants are the simple things in life that he does not have. I don't know if I would have the strength to leave all of that myself.

OMG! I happen to just have watched that episode. Your story was fabulous, what a great idea. Two things you wrote I really loved- This is what Clark does best: he makes himself sexy in the most unsexy of situations. And Bruce is unable to resist. *ha, ha, you made me smile* And this-“I’ll make this happen,” Bruce whispers against Clark’s lips, “I promise you, I’ll make this happen for us. We’ll be together.” *Ahh, so perfect. You know that Bruce will make good on his promise.

I confess I watch that episode more than I should. It's definitely one of my favorites. And the scene where Clark says goodbye to his son! AH! I cry every time. D:

“I’ll make this happen,” Bruce whispers against Clark’s lips, “I promise you, I’ll make this happen for us. We’ll be together.” *Ahh, so perfect. You know that Bruce will make good on his promise.

He totally will! He is Batman, after all. :D

I loved it! I like the idea of Bruce creating this perfect world where his parents are alive and he's settled into a happy, loving life with Clark (so much better than the rather disturbing dream he has in the episode!). The Diana appearance was great too.

Poor boys just don't have it easy but they'll get there in the end.

Uhg! I know! That dream he has in the episode never sat well with me. With Clark, we got to see this whole wonderful life he could have had on Krypton, but with Bruce we just watch his dad beat up Joe Chill in an alley. It is disturbing. I'm glad you like my version better, LOL!
