One my girlfriends, Gladys, shared this anecdote about her matrona aunts as they were touring Europe:

Tour Guide: And over here, you’ll see the history of the city on this huge stained glass wall, which is over a hundred years old!
Matrona 1 to Matrona 2 : Hay, umalis na tayo at baka mabagsakan pa tayo!

Bwahahaha!

Just yesterday, I was reading about old stained-glass windows in old churches in Paris. Apparently, those things had advertising back then. Donors to the churches would find themselves represented on the glass windows through icons or depictions of their industry.

I thought: parang yearbook, may sponsors.

and just like yearbooks and souvenir programs, exposure of the sponsor depends on how much he/she gives. ganda.

thank you for my birthday greeting.

this is too funny. i love it and wil share it with all everyone.

btw, i just watched miss teen usa a couple of days ago. the girls were physically beautiful. it seems that donald is really picking beauty over brains. miss hawaii was first runner up and is said to be part filipino. she was really pretty.
