Underrated Divas of Film

I keep a mental list of film divas that I think are underrated, having been denied the recognition they deserve. They certainly are successful in their careers as film artists, nominated for an Oscar, some of them twice or thrice, which they have yet to win. Ay how lovely, I so totally agree with this shrine's line up. They are my personal favorites ever. Since last week, I'm being Joan Allen :)

I like her in ice storm din, but currently I am joan of jason bourne! zoom in lang ang puhunan. Anyway, I imagine, magkaka love affair sila ni jason :)

Even in a predictable, mushy movie like "The Notebook," Joan Allen was the Joan Allen. I would not say it was a great performance, but just being there helped elevate it a notch higher. (My friend was sobbing. Don't ask who. I was surprised he was such a pusong mamon. Hahah.) I want to watch Bourne Supremacy tomorrow.

Did you know Miranda richardson played a small cameo in desperately seeking susan? she was the ditzy four eyed magician's assistant na friend ni susan.

that wasn't miranda richardson. her name is anne levine. she was one of the supproting players on the tracey ullman show :)

i LOVE cate blanchett
i totally agree with her being robbed of that oscar for elizabeth
i used to like gwynnie..ok i still kinda like her...but i didn't think
her performance in shakespeare in love was oscar-worthy at all.
