Usually I take these silly test things if I'm bored and go "whatever" afterwards, but the results of this one were so... spectacular... that I had to share. And you all only _thought_ I was crazy before! At least I'm not very dependent or borderline.

It was a pretty good con for me. It was nice to get away and there are a bunch of people I only get to see at DragonCon. I'm still running a sleep deficit though...

45,300 students. That may not sound like much, but apparently that makes us ranked 7th in the nation. Just sharing a data point that came up...

Well, the first two days of class have essentially been a catastrophe. Apparently the greater usage load combined with some other changes that have been made caused the campus portal to melt down. Well, classes start today at UCF, so I have to go to my "students are back and the parking sucks" schedule which has me getting here around 7:15am. And the Associate Director of our section got an early start on his panicing about whether the system can handle the load, I came in to about 6 emails already. Ugh.

I finally got tired of apparently being the only person without a picture on LJ, so I just recycled my JACON 2005 badge image. Now if _someone_ will get around to making my LJ icon as she said she would I would be all set...
