Hoping the Livejournal friends going to the Australian Worldcon send lots of pictures back. I don't seem to deal well with large conventions anymore, but I do like reports. Everyone have safe journeys there and back.

This morning I went for a walk and looked at the other rain gardens that have been planted on our block. My end of the block isn't planted, yet. I could do it on my own, since they left the plants, but Denny feels it might goof things up for the crews, somehow. The rain garden was dug and mulched yesterday, with the plants set to the side, presumably for planting today or tomorrow. I hope it's tomorrow. It will be much cooler for the crew. Diversicon was quite nice: small, good people, good GoHs (William Wu and Rob Chilhom) and many good discussions. The hotel is a bit of a problem, out in Bandana Square, with no restaurants, but were used to that, and the Consuite helps. Many lunch and dinner expeditions.
