Seems I have 2 (minorly) herniated disks. Going to see an internal doc for it, but from everyone's reaction on the medical side it seems like it is not going to be a big deal. So exercises, physical therapy, and time seems so far to be the prescription. Got the images of the scan, so here is a video if interested. Added color and music of course. ( Read more... )

Alright, so I have a hard to explaining what my company does. But at the CES (Consumer Electronics.... show?) show we had a booth, and a couple videos were put up. So here you go!

The office was closed Jan 2. I just got informed that I have to spend 8 hours of my paid time off. I can't take it unpaid, like I was told. This is total bullshit-, I earned that time off and I want to spend it on my own free will.

Prototype NightVision worked decent. Great in enclosed areas, but open areas created too much saturation, washing out my image. Will have to make a more focused beam to fix it I believe, so there is a spot for the camera to set itself to rather than the scene as a whole ( Read more... )

Well, almost. In a sword fighting tournament at the RenFaire, with some very highly skilled fighters, I took 2nd place. I lost 1st in the closest match i have seen in some time, and was resounded by the reeve/judge/local master-at-arms. Was one of those "not by dominance of skill, but chance of which would fail from equal levels" situations. I ( Read more... )
