My personal fanfic project is done! Approximately 15 years’ worth of ‘favorite’ fanfics are now on my Nook. That’s sort of mind boggling. My Nook now has a little over 2600 titles on it. That’s also mind boggling!

I guess after this I can look over my hard drive to see what else I have that I might want on the Nook, and I can start some serious ( Read more... )

It was 73 yesterday!!! I was in the backyard in a tanktop dismantling a rusted out clothesline pole! Now it’s snowing hard, everything is closed, and the temperature is still dropping! We’re supposed to be in the upper teens by this evening, with a predicted overnight low of 9! I am soooo sick of winter!

It started about 10 minutes ago. The ice is due to move into our area after midnight. I am so ready for winter to be over!

I have come to the conclusion that I'm a little bit spoiled; it's been several years since I had to clear snow from the steps and front walk.The offspring took over that job years ago, but he's living on campus now.  And the steps and walk won't clear themselves when the temperature doesn't get above freezing ( Read more... )
