Goonie says its more stupid. He then brings up the rule of more than one syllable needs a more, and not an "er" If u need anymore questions answered, or another copy of the Chicago soundtrack !!! im always willing to share my vast amounts of knowledge with u(cause u can appreciate true genius)

but they dont all follow the two syllable rule, and 'stupider' sounds, well, stupid. like fun; if i had a dollar for everytime ive said 'funner'...

I've always been told "stupider" wasn't a word, but "more stupid" was the correct way of saying it.
