I went out for a nice meal last night with someone lovely, let's call him geeky guy (he so is, I love it!) and it was great. I was stupidly nervous because he's really cute and although I guess it wasn't a 'date' - I never really know when it's correct to refer to going out for a meal with a friend as a date - I don't think he saw it as a date, ( Read more... )

Woo, date-irific! I dunno - I reckon it was too, but I'm too scared to ask. Might wait 'til I'm drunk on New Years and send him a message and ask... Hmm.

yeah, we had snow, thought it'd get worse by the mornin so I wouldn't have to go to work, but it all went and I had to come in!

i've never figured out what makes a date... i think maybe its the intent behind it... one time i went on a date... it was date cos i'd asked the guy if he wanted to "go out" with me and he agreed before we met up. this was of course after spending a fair few weeks just hanging out as friends trying to sum up the courage to ask (i don't drink which makes it difficult). i didn't kiss him at the end of this date despite us going out cos we said goodbye in the middle of a train station and like gretchen in donnie darko i thought it would be weird with someone watching. and if you are "dating" someone does that mean every time you go somewhere together you are on a date?
