um... i found your journal through your post on subarashiki_ds requesting screens (i actually wanted to surf your icons because of the elephant one you used in that post), and the first thing i saw when i came to your journal was this post.

i just couldn't resist saying that i absolutely agree with you. as a non-christian, i've definitely dealt with some christians who have forgotten the basic teachings of their religion. i've had some people i know start snubbing me once they learned i wasn't going to start going to church with them. i've seen the hate all over, in the forms of the radical demonstrations (and worse) at abortion clinics and, as you so eloquently mentioned in this post, the hate directed towards gays and those who voted for obama.

i'm fortunate enough that at least one of my christian friends has also expressed the same viewpoints as you have here. i definitely wish more christians would think this way.

Unrelated to current post: RYUNE. I have friended you with this account for the purpose of modly communication, so that we can have a to-do list thingy. Basically I'm going to be posting locked posts to this journal so we have a list of things that need to be taken care of.
