I continue to fail at being a productive member of society. I don't remember failing to get a job being this depressing last time around, despite the fact that I was living with my mum at the time and that was not exactly fun. I suppose this time I'm scared I'm going to lose my flat. And then I will cry all over you. All over all of you.
Needing human contact, I proceeded to meet the usual Merlin crowd on Saturday, and then to get really drunk with burkesl17 and freedomdarkness and WHERE IS MY SUPERNATURAL/TOP GEAR FIC? I can't remember what we talked about really. I'm sure it was very interesting.
Sunday I led an excellent tour at the British Museum and had a MAGICAL question about negative relief carving in early ancient Egyptian monumental sculpture. Clearly, the technique was introduced by aliens. Or something. Anyway, I was a happy lamb when I went over to burkesl17's place for dinner and wine. I was happy when we watched the original Stargate movie and I was thrilled that the hieroglyphs were actually real and correct! This was exciting for me. I was happy until we saw Michael Fassbender in 300. Then I was just disturbed.
Now, seeing as I am sick of writing really long things (except, you know, that's a complete lie) I thought I'd try some short things. I saw a meme the other day but now can't find it anywhere so I'll just make up my own version.
Choose any fic I've ever written (yes, any fic. I mean that. Any fic, any fandom, however old.) and then tell me something that wasn't in the fic that you'd like to know about. Maybe it's something that happened after the fic, a time stamp, or you'd like to know something more about an aspect of the fic. I'll write a short (probably) piece for you to fulfill your request.
