I really am sorry that you have to deal with this. It is saddening that some people are so bored and empty in their own lives that they feel the need to meddle with other people's lives.
I've been where you are. And it really sucks. But stand up for yourself and it will eventually stop. Only you and Tom know the details behind everything and it is no one else's business.

The situation you are in now is one of the hardest in the wold to be in. There are three sides to every story, and people are going to listen to whichever one they want to. (Or who ever is the most convincing,) And, sadly, there isn't a whole lot that you can do about it.

You did your best in an unfortunate situation, and you did what you truly believe was the right thing, and I don't see anything wrong with that. I hope you know that you will ALWAYS have my love and support, so matter what you do. Even when I was concerned for you, I always wanted you to know that I supported you.

Since you live out in my neck of he woods, and I have no life outside my children most of the time, please know you can call me any time you need to vent. And, on the plus side, I don't know any of your friends, so I can't talk to anyone about it. :) j/k.

Since you are in our neck of the woods... My friend Addie and I go to movies once or twice a month at the theater off of Towne Lake Parkway, and I think we are going to try and go out some night this week. (I say I think because I am taking care of my niece while my sister is in the hospital giving birth to my other niece and I think I am going to be worn out after watching a one, a two, and a three year old all day by myself for a week...) But would you be interested in joining us once in awhile? We have pretty random taste and will go see just about anything, because we just like going to the movies. I would love for you to come with us sometime.
